JDFT-DI Magnetometer

JDFT-DI Magnetometer is an integrated opto-mechanical-electrical absolute geomagnetic observation device. It supports multi-functional measurement in one unit, capable of observing both geomagnetic declination (D) and geomagnetic inclination (I). When cooperating with a proton magnetometer for total magnetic field intensity (F) measurement, it forms an ideal geomagnetic vector observation combination.

This magnetometer is applicable not only to fixed geomagnetic observatory stations but also to mobile field geomagnetic observation missions.

Featuring high observation accuracy, portable design, simple operation, stable and reliable working performance, the JDFT Series Fluxgate Theodolite is widely applied in geomagnetic scientific research, data collection, geomagnetic mapping, national defense, earthquake prediction, petroleum and mineral exploration, aviation and navigation orientation, and other fields for geomagnetic observation at fixed stations and field measuring points.

Product Model

The JDFT-DI Magnetometer includes two models with different measurement accuracies: 2‑second (JDFT‑2) and 6‑second(JDFT-6) .

Overview of Main Features

1. The optical unit adopts Orangelamp self-developed non-magnetic theodolite, available in 2-second and 6-second accuracy models. The magnetic field of any position of the theodolite within 1 cm from the probe direction is less than 1 nT.

2. The magnetometer unit adopts a single-axis fluxgate magnetometer with a high resolution of 0.1 nT.

3. The system features a simple structure, lightweight and portable design, suitable for both fixed station observation and field operation.
